Hello,

a bit about me:

I was a research assistant under the direction of Professor Daniel F. Shantz in the department of chemical & biomolecular engineering at Tulane. I was the first student joined Prof. Shantz lab in December 2014. The focus of my research lied at the heterogeneous catalysis and materials design. I employed many analytical instruments (spectroscopies, porosimetry, microscopies, etc) to study the chemical transformation of molecules on catalytic surfaces. Our lab is focused on the development of new materials that will be relevant in energy generation, storage, and conversion. I currently work in the Lithium-ion battery startup company as a Materials Scientist to design the materials that scale silicon-based lithium-ion battery technology to worldwide acceptance.
